It is just so freaking good!!!! The new owner is even better than the original people... I am not sure how that could have been possible but it is... This lady puts her heart in her food and it shows!!!

The other night I ordered a General Tso's chicken and I have no clue what I really got. Needless to say it went in the trash, it was the first and last time Ill ever get anything from there. Save your money and just go to the Happy Star Chinese on Euclid Ave and you will be much happier with the food and people.

The BEST ever! We just moved here and was a little skeptical to order from a different Chinese place. We called and ordered because they were the only place to deliver were we are. The food did take a little over an hour but it was amazing. We ordered 2 Sweet and Sour Chickens with Fried Rice and that was it. They gave us 4 of their donuts as a gift and the portions were awesome. We have tons of left overs. Best service ever! and amazing food! The fried rice had beef cuts and onion in it (so if allergic you need to tell them)/

Gave it a 2 star because the fried rice is cooked in soy sause & mushy. But u get alot of food with the combo means for ur buck.

I've had my orders cancelled, and said they don't deliver to my place. Then order a week later, and they do. I've waited hours, and had to keep calling only to be told again they don't deliver here, again. And now they want to charge me 3$ on top of making me make a subtotal order of 20$ ; Which comes out to 25+ just for me. No thanks. Plenty of cheaper and better restaurants around here.

My husband and I order from China Sun pretty often and we have been pleased with their food in the past. Tonight, I ordered egg drop soup and shrimp with garlic sauce. I’ve eaten this from China Sun and have thoroughly enjoyed it in the past. It has been my “go to” order for some time. When I took the lid off my cup of soup, the soup wasn’t yellow but green! Egg Drop Soup is made with chicken stock (clear), beaten eggs (yellow) and cornstarch (white). Mixing these together should bring about a yellow product. I could not eat the green soup. My Shrimp with garlic sauce was made with the small salad shrimp instead of the large shrimp that I have had in this dish before. It seemed to be kind of flat in favor. I doubt we will order from here again.

Egg rolls dry, sauce on orange chicken was very think and sticky, had a huge glob of a gel in the sauce. General tos and orange chicken had no heat at all to either dish. Really not good at all the only upside was it was not a huge price tag.

I ate here years ago and it wasn't bad, but since then, a new owner/cook bought the place and the food is beyond better. I went on 04/2019 and had the Mongolian beef. It was delicious! If you had them in the past, don't judge them by that as it is no where like it was.

It was good! I just recently went into China sun and I felt like, warm and welcome. The woman was very nice and almost distracted me from the cashier rolling her eyes by giving me some (?) chip things? They weren’t bad so I’m not mad! She also showed me what to order and it’s been 20 min (fingers crossed) and I haven’t thrown up! So I’d say it’s probably a pretty clean place to eat! One fun part of the staff was the small Chinese boy sleeping in the corner, he looked at home and made the place feel safe. When I got my food I was walked out into the car and noticed that she had also given me a single (1) chicken wing, and an egg roll (?) that was hot pink on the inside! It was not raw it was just fluorescent pink colored! NIFTY! I ate the egg roll but passed on the wing (free of charge!) overall I’d say go check out China sun! It’s a good adventure and you never really know what you’re going to get, if I could give it more stars I would.

It really is the best value. I really enjoyed the food and the staff was so friendly!

Great food and they deliver!!

This place is great! I've traveled all over the U.S. and this is the best Chinese restaurant that I've eaten at. The human shrimp was fantastic and had a better variety and quality of vegetables than any other restaurant that I've dined at. The service was wonderful and made our whole experience memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

This place and the lady managing it deserves fifty stars during this COVID 19 situation. She was more than accommodating & sweet and you did not have to be afraid to use the bathroom because there were more than enough supplies there to take care of yourself while waiting for your food.... It was amazing....

Didn't even bother ordering. They wanted to charge a $3 delivery fee on top of a $20 minimum subtotal. After that, tax, and tip we were looking at nearly $30 for chinese food for two people at a hotel that's less than a half mile from the store. No thanks. Feel free to rip off someone else.

With these new owners it's the best Chinese food around for sure

I order food at 4:14 and it is now 5:26 and its still not here. They have no concern about getting the food to you in a timely manner

Absolutely terrible! Do yourself a favor and not waste your money. Bring the old China Sun back! It might be awhile until I get a craving for Chinese again but when I do I’ll make the further drive somewhere else.

Service isn't always perfect, but the restaurant is clean, the food is great, great prices, and they often give free small food items as gifts.

The place is usually good but their delivery times are terrible. Waited 2hours for food to be delivered. Its all cold and that was after being told a driver had left 30min before my call to ask where it was. Very disappointed.

I hate writing this negative review, because I love good Chinese food delivery. This is the only Chinese restaurant that delivers in my area and, sadly, the food was God-awful. I wanted so much for it to be good; it just wasn't. Not at all.For what it's worth, I never had worse Chinese food. Never. Don't believe me? Try it, I dare you.General Tso's was made with chicken I would not feed my dog. Not kidding even a little bit. Not hyperbole. The chicken was processed into small, tough rectangles with no flavor. The breading, or whatever coated the inedible chicken, was a mushy, gelatinous paste without flavor.Beef Broccoli had way, way too much salt. I couldn't eat it.Crab Rangoon filler is cream cheese and nothing else. No sauce for this was delivered.I asked for lots of duck sauce for the egg rolls, but they delivered two packets.This was my second time here... FIRST AND LAST.

If I could rate it less I would. My husband & I tried it because we love Chinese food. It's the worst Chinese restaurant I have tried. Tables were sticky, it was a nasty restaurant. No soda machine, you have to get bottle soda or water. Flies & gnats everywhere because they had the door open. It was so hot in there, obviously no AC. Food was greasy & had no taste. Don't waste your money here go to Panda Express at the Pinnacle instead, wish we had. Will no be back. The owners are nice but the delivery driver came in while we was eating & was coughing all over the front counter where you order & had a hospital mask looped around his ears but it wasn't covering his mouth. So gross, after that I was done, did not want to eat anymore.

Good, fast , and fairly priced entrees. Nice staff as well. I don't eat Chinese food much, but when I'm in a hurry and want something different, I have no issues eating here.

The husband and wife who owns this store is very friendly and generous. I come here at least 2 times a week and tip generously and get great service. The food quality is very good, they definately deserve 5 stars. Whatever you ask for or need they are more than happy to give or accommodate your needs. Thanks very much china sun!!!

Foods great,new management and new renovated atmosphere..cheap and friendly..it gets a little hectic sometimes, ..but what do u expect for good food.. nothing is ever perfect, but it comes pretty damn close..

Horrible Horrible Horrible! They forgot my order then made me wait for an hour! Then the most horrible part of all.The Food. Eggrolls taste like nobody bothered to wash the dirt out of the cabbage. Stale noodles! And never even said they were sorry for making me wait! Waste of time and money!Yuuuhkkkkkkk!!!!!!

Just ordered from here was a little sceptical after seeing that the kitchen looked dirty and so did the hands of the cooks. I went ahead and paid for my order and took it back to eat. The sesame chicken tasted burnt and the rice looked like it had baby roaches fried in it. The rice tasted old as well like it had sat for several days. I love Chinese food and this had to be my worst experience ever. Note to self never eat hear again and avoid this restaurant like the plague. Hope this review saves you all some stomach pain.

I've had good Chinese food. I've had Great Chinese food. I've never had bad Chinese food until now. The WORST food I've ever had. I couldn't even choke it down. I wouldn't throw to the hogs out of fear they would throw it back. Drive the extra couple miles and find another Chinese place. Avoid this place like the plague. You'll be glad you did.

Nice enough lady. Food quality is extremely poor. Hot and sour soup is usually tasteless and as thick as toothpaste. Anything dark meat and fried is overcooked and fatty meat, have to upgrade to get white meat. Condition of the front is also poor. Price is the only thing decent, but not worth it still.

Available for take-out only. Placed order at 7:30. Was told it would be ready in about 20 minutes. Arrived to pick up our food at 8:05 & they had not even began cooking our food yet. I will say they somewhat made up for it by tossing in an order of Krab Rangoon. :)

i hate writing bad reviews but their food is awful to salty and the wonton soup chips were stale. The crab ragoon tasted sour. It was not worth my $40 the only thing thing that was good was the sugar doughnuts. I will never order here again!!! Plus they forgot my my rice...... Horrible Experience ever eating chinese food!!!!

Waited 2 hours for food to arrive through delivery. When I called to cancel the order because we had waited so long I was waiting on a confirmation that we would be rufunded and they just hung on me.

No more food from these guys for my family and I. I will start off by saying the woman is very nice and friendly, but there is no excuse for bugs being in the food. My son loves white rice and he thought there was a burnt piece of rice and when he went to move it away from the rest of the rice it began scurrying and he freaked out. My family and I are completely disgusted by this and now wonder just how many bugs have we consumed in the past when we ate food from here. I will post a picture on here for all to see I am not making this up.

Since there is no zero I had to put one, but thank you so much I just spent the night sick as a dog from this place, the food was horrible looking and tasted even worse but I was hungry so I tried to eat it, boy did I pay for it later in the middle of the night, I am sure it was food poisoning, please please avoid this place, it is the worse Chinese place I have ever experienced, the one next to Food City in Abingdon had been before but at least I did not get sick from them, I should have went the extra couple of miles to the one I usually go too, this food was not even close to being what you see other places. I will never ever go there again, and plan on tossing this as soon as my stomach settles down enough to do it!! Awful food!!!!
